I am a seasoned traveler with expensive taste and Silavadee truly blew me away. The decor is very minimalistic, which may seem off-putting at first if you are accustomed to the lush gardens and colorful palettes that dominate most of the island of Koh Samui. But you will soon learn to appreciate the simplicity of the beauty around you, the clean lines and elegant touches. The theme is "back to nature" and you certainly feel it all around you. The reception area is open air, perched on a cliff-side with a breathtaking view of the deep blue Samui waters. The walkway from reception into the resort is accented by a lovely water wall, beautifully lit at night and surrounded by plant-life. Nice service from all staffs since you get on the airport pickup car, during the stay, untill airport drop-off. Lastly, all dining here are nice and always beyond expectation. The first good impression was freindly staff and very beutyfull territory of hotel: big swimming pool with wonderful ocean veiw, well-attended lawns and lanes. the food was good. The restraunt has the terrase with ocean view. Very lovely... This hotel is the perfect one for honeymoon, for silent vocation. it is a little bit far from Lamai and Chaeweng but there is a shuttle bus service several times per day, so it is very comfortable for the clients.

Villas have private pools, loungers, and ocean views. It's worth noting that the villas in particular are starting to show some wear, but all spaces are still luxurious. Much of the native landscape has been retained during the development of the resort. All designs, furniture and fabrics have been carefully selected, many items are handmade and designed by local artists.
